Dr. Anyanwu Okechukwu Promotes and Advocates Safe Blood for Nigerians

Dr. Anyanwu Okechukwu promotes and advocates safe blood for Nigerians.

People often say, “Weekends are for parties.” However, this saying does not capture the relentless efforts of Dr. Okechukwu this past weekend in building affiliations, advocating safe healthcare approaches, and holding hands with others to chart a new paradigm for Nigeria’s healthcare landscape.

For HEPAN, it was not only pomp and pageantry but also a monumental accomplishment for members of HEPAN (Healthcare Equipment & Allied Products Providers Association of Nigeria) for the successful hosting of their annual conference in 2024.

HEPAN brought together various healthcare stakeholders in Nigeria at this conference to synergize with these agencies and groups according to their healthcare objectives and accelerate enhanced accessibility and sustainability of healthcare through the marketplace. Dignitaries such as healthcare policymakers, regulators, downstream healthcare players, the press, and the public are among them.

On that occasion, Dr. Anyanwu provided a unique background on safe blood and the marketplace.

Similarly, he extolled members of HEPAN for their invaluable contributions through the marketplace and highlighted how their efforts are pivotal to the provision of safe and accessible blood products.

Dr Anyanwu enumerated technology, the centralization of blood services, and strict compliance with standard procedures as vital steps to continue providing Nigerians with safe and qualitative IVDs.

He concluded by seeking cooperation from the end customers to realize safety-engineered products for safe blood and other diagnoses for Nigerians.
